Bosch Training

Vehicle electronic systems continue to grow in complexity by the day. The ability for technicians to efficiently diagnose sensors and electrical faults in the modern vehicle is greatly enhanced by a thorough understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals. The number of components used today is continuously increasing, with dozens of sensors integrated into the various vehicle control systems. You will understand, test and diagnose components applied to modern vehicle systems.

This training course will give participants a detailed understanding of the following topics:

  • Electronic component operation including transistors, diodes, capacitors and resistors/potentiometers
  • Fundamental electrical principles including voltage, current, capacitance & inductance
  • Measurement techniques and the use of appropriate test equipment for fast and accurate results
  • Practical on vehicle testing of circuits combined with in-classroom exercises
  • Sensor operating principles and variants
  • Effective and logical diagnosis of the key input devices in common use

Course Duration: 2 Days

This course consolidates the previous Electronic & Electronic Fundamentals and Electronic Sensor & Actuator Diagnosis courses.
