UPDATE: On Demand Transport Reforms

MTA WA Congratulates Rita Saffiotti Minister for Transport for her recent announcement of on-demand transport reforms in WA. The reforms are well overdue and we congratulate the Minister and McGowan Government on the recent announcement.

The reforms do have some controversial elements but on the whole the MTA WA supports the taxi plate buy back initiative and 10% levy. It's great to see that the levy is capped at a 4 year term. We look forward to working with the government in the future as we deliver consumers with a modern on-demand transport sector.
