Topics covered include:

  • Dealers obligations under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973.
  • Dealers Licence Application process.
  • Premises and categories of licenses.
  • Practical completion of legal paperwork.
  • Australian Consumer Laws and the Automotive Dealer.

This course delivers:

  • Enrolment in the online course.
  • 2 attempts at the examination within 30 days of attending the course.
  • 2 days of intensive training with an industry expert who has decades of automotive retail experience, including operating a dealership. 
  • Hard copy of training manual.
  • Training on how to complete industry required forms, as well as hard copies of the forms necessary.
  • Lunch and easy access to free parking.
  • Held at our headquarters in Balcatta.
  • Trainer on call after the course to answer additional questions.
  • Assistance in lodging your licence application with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.

Meet the Trainer – Tony Bradshaw

MTA WA Dealer Development Tony Bradshaw first entered the automotive sales industry in 1981. Progressing through the industry in finance and sales roles and operating his own dealerships he’s got an extensive automotive and small business background. Having spent many years delivering sales and administration training for the MTA WA he has an extensive network of members and stakeholders in the industry and is passionate about staff training and business operation systems.
